Work is now under way on the rehabilitation of the Matarajira, Mtazamo and Bahi irrigation scheme in Dodoma Region, a project commissioned by the National Irrigation Commission with a contract value of TZS 3.58 billion.
Scope of works includes resurveying the whole project area and construction of the main canal, supporting irrigation for farming communities across the scheme.
